Hey, Y’all! My name is Charlotte Steffensen. I am a born and raised Virginian. Travel and cultural exchange were passions I was introduced to at an early age. When I was in 4th grade my family moved to Dodoma, Tanzania to be missionaries for a year. Later between 10th and 11th grade, I took a ‘gap’ year to repeat my 10th-grade year in a suburb of Hamburg, Germany through the Rotary International Youth Exchange. In 2020 I graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in International Studies with a focus on International Development. After graduation, my plan was to do YASC, but because of Covid-19, I had to change plans. I ended up earning my Postgraduate Diploma in Theology from Virginia Theological Seminary as part of their Pathways to ministry program. In 2022, I will finally be serving as a YASCer in Liverpool, UK.
